And you thought God didn’t talk

*A note before you read this. After doing an audit of my blog in 2022, I have decided to leave content that speaks to the Christian I was at the time this was written. I no longer identify as Christian (and haven’t for a very long time.) I chose to leave these posts because it is who I was then and it is important to me to be honest and true with every iteration and evolution of self that I experience. I may decide to add comments to the end of posts like this as well

What happens when you write this and this and tell God you’re scared of being close to Him?

This is what I heard at the Beth Moore Bible study, Stepping Up:

“The Psalms of Ascent have been paralleled to a soul getting closer to God.”

“We will move to the next level with God.”

“I don’t want to be too scared to go on with God.”

and finally…

“…to find yourself in a nearness to God that you’ve never been.”

(Do you really think God doesn’t speak?)

Our hearts are for the families from Haiti ,too ! Let`s keep prayers for all the overhelming situation of there .

Often when we face obstacles in our day-to-day life, our hurdles seem very small in comparison to what many others have to face. The Brooklyn Bridge shows us that dreams that seem impossible can be realised with determination and persistence, no matter what the odds are.The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice…it is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express. It is not a gift that gets delivered to our doorstep each morning, nor does it come through the window. And I am certain that our circumstances are just a small part of what makes us joyful. If we wait for them to get just right, we will never find lasting joy.

The LORD is with us !

    -:) Hugs !!!

  2. I just read a book from the library that I thought you would be interested in reading. It's The Guardians: Loving Eyes Are Watching by Richard Williams. The author has been active in Christian Ministry for over 28 years. It's a romance mystery where two people(a sister and brother)life is turned upside down and they find out where true help comes from. Two dogs will help them find their way back to the path of God's love.
