Icy Wonderland

There’s not much to say, I think the beauty speaks loud and clear.

Black and Whites

Tell me what you think of these sets. I’ve been playing around with a Photoshop action called “Old Paper” and I am totally in love with it. The first is a color photo converted to black and white with a little contrast enhancement. The second in the set is the “Old Paper” action applied. I’m thinking of blowing up the Old Paper ones and framing them. Which do you like better?

  1. You’re right! Our photography styles are SO similar! Just one of the many reasons we are friends I suppose 🙂

I do like the old paper – I’ve been experimenting with some of those features as well.

If it wasn’t so dangerous out, I’d like to go around town taking some pics – but best not.

    Is she EATING the ice??

  2. I love both sets. But ice storms are so crisp and sharp that I think the first – the new paper – captures that better.

I remember my first ice storm when I was in college in VA. It was early morning and the sun sparkling on all that ice was the most spectacular thing I had ever seen. deadly gorgeous.
