Nothing Gold Can Stay by Michelle Pendergrass | Oct 29, 2009 | Uncategorized | 10 comments Nature’s first green is gold Her hardest hue to hold Her early leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. –Robert Frost 10 Comments Adventures In Babywearing on October 29, 2009 at 12:15 pm You have the best view. Steph Reply Andrea on October 29, 2009 at 1:09 pm I can not believe you chose this Robert Frost poem, today. My youngest sister died in 1989 at age 17. This was her favorite poem. We had it put on her grave stone. I rarely make it back to rural SC and I will be going there this weekend. These are beautiful pictures you chose to post with this poem. THANK YOU for this beautiful morning blessing!Andrea PS: Sitka has an award for you at All GODs Creatures. Makes me want to pull out my favorite poetry volumes today. Reply Rissa on October 29, 2009 at 2:56 pm What beauty. Love it. Reply Cynthia@RunningWithLetters on October 29, 2009 at 8:38 pm The ominous sky really lends itself to the frost poem–it works well artistically on multiple levels! email@example.com://runningwithletters.blogspot.com/ Reply Whimsical Creations on October 29, 2009 at 11:47 pm Beautiful shots!
