This a FANTASTIC shot!! Where was it taken? You should blow it up and frame it – put it with your flower paintings! 🙂 Love it – one of my favs so far 🙂 Reply Hey Harriet on August 10, 2008 at 9:57 pm Love this! It's beautiful & kind of creepy at the same time! Great title too 🙂 Reply Lisa B. on August 10, 2008 at 11:10 pm Cool shot! Gives me a bit of vertigo… Reply ~michelle pendergrass on August 11, 2008 at 12:27 am Thanks everyone! This one is my favorite so far. Gina–funny. The texture of the concrete was my favorite part, too! Toni–I pulled the flower up and laid it on the walkway to my door. It was one morning after Phil left for work, I carried something out for him and saw the sunlight pouring in low so I thought I’d see what happened. Turned out way better than I thought it would! I never thought of blowing it up. I wonder how it would look black and white. Hmmm… Reply annette on August 11, 2008 at 5:48 am Ditto to all of the above, love it!! It would look great blown up. Had to do a double take on the finger necklace, very creative;0) Reply Paz on August 11, 2008 at 1:12 pm beautiful. i love it. and nice new look. 😉 Paz Reply Toni on August 11, 2008 at 2:15 pm lol – I thought it was growing through a crack in the cement. I was thinking, “hardy little bugger, aren’t ya?” Do love the new look of your blog! Nice job! The background reminds me of the cover on your life book 🙂 Reply heather on August 11, 2008 at 3:14 pm I love the new look! And Pushing Daisies is my favorite TV show! Reply ~michelle pendergrass on August 12, 2008 at 1:35 pm Thanks Annette, paz, heather. 🙂 The credit goes to Toni and http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com. Toni changed her background and it looked fabulous which inspired me to change mine. The only thing I did was a little photoshopping of the finger necklace! Toni–Weird. I didn’t realize how much it resembles my lifebook cover! Til now, of course!! heather–you won’t be surprised to know I’ve never watched that.
