Update–2009 Scripture Number 2

*A note before you read this. After doing an audit of my blog in 2022, I have decided to leave content that speaks to the Christian I was at the time this was written. I no longer identify as Christian (and haven’t for a very long time.) I chose to leave these posts because it is who I was then and it is important to me to be honest and true with every iteration and evolution of self that I experience. I may decide to add comments to the end of posts like this as well

  1. Hey Michelle, it’s been longer than I planned, but this is Erin Carpenter, Phil’s cousin. I can’t thank you enough for connecting with Regan during Lil’s funeral. I know Regan and I will never forget it! We would love to keep in touch with you guys. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I’m on facebook, seems easier than Myspace, but I’m there too, just don’t check it as often. Let me know when you finish the book, would love to read it.

  2. Michelle,
I ran across your comment at Beth’s blog and you had a link to scripture art journal….intrigued and curious I clicked on the link!
What a wonderful idea. I have trouble memorizing verses and I think this may help me to do something like this. I am far from being an artist but I love to doodle.
Thank you for the excellent idea.
You said you got your journal from Barnes and Noble is there a name of the journal so that I can get my hands on one similar!
    Blessings.

  3. I'm so glad you stopped by! I'm a totally horrible Scripture memorizer! I'm very visual, so this has really worked for me (so far, anyway!) And yeah, I'm totally not an artist, but I love to play and it makes my soul feel refreshed.

I hope you'll let me know how it goes for you?

I bought a Fusion sketchbook/journal, according to the sticker on back it's made by Daler-Rowney. If you give Barnes & Noble the ISBN they can look it up: 9780737631517

It was in their blank journal section. 🙂
