Your son is adorable 🙂 And regarding the walls-when we moved into our house, there was purple marker on the off-white walls in the back room. We painted over it with two coats of white Killz paint and then two coats of regular paint, and it disappeared. You can get Killz at Home Depot or anywhere else that sells paint I imagine.
